Public Health Seminar on Oct. 12 to look at Attitudes on Strategies to Increase Organ Donation

Dr. Braden Manns, Associate Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Community Health Sciences and Libin member is giving a talk on Friday Oct 12 on “Attitudes Toward Strategies to Increase Organ Donation: Views of the General Public and Health Professionals.”

It is presented as part of the Institute for Public Health Seminar Series.
Read more about Mann’s recent study in Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology (CJASN) which found that Canadians view financial incentives for deceased kidney donation to be acceptable, and nearly half of the general public in Canada also find it acceptable for living kidney donation.
